New Microsoft feature to Share to Teams

You’re now able to share CoSpaces to Microsoft Teams using the new Share to Teams feature. Simply click Share on the CoSpace you want to share and then select the Microsoft Share to Teams icon.

This feature is available on the Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Chrome web browsers only. To share to Teams from a mobile device, post the link to your CoSpace to your Microsoft Teams app.

New feature to save CoBlocks as images

You can now download CoBlocks, CoBlocks scripts or parts of a script from your CoSpaces as images and use them wherever you like!

To save an entire CoBlocks script:

1. Press the dropdown arrow of the script tab,
2. Select Save as image,
3. Select an A4 paper orientation to optimize for.

To save specific CoBlocks or selections:

1. Select the blocks you want to save as image,
2. In the dropdown menu, select Save as image.

New character job outfits in the Library

From cook or teacher to policeman or astronaut, you’ll now find various job outfits for your characters to take on different roles in the CoSpaces Edu Library’s Characters section.

New 3D Text item in the Library

You can now easily add text in 3 dimensions with the new 3D Text item available in the Library’s Building category.

New option to sign in with Apple

If you have an Apple account, you’re now able to sign in to CoSpaces Edu directly with the Sign in with Apple button.

New AR mode view and markers

When using the AR mode to project CoSpaces on a surface with your phone or tablet device, you’ll now get a different experience with a new view and improved markers to make projecting in AR easier.

Visual design updates

• The CoSpaces Edu mobile app now has iPhone notch support.
• On mobile phones and tablets, a footer menu now replaces the side menu for a more consistent mobile navigation experience.
• The buttons in Play mode were updated with a new forward/backward button, new icon positions, and adaptation to portrait orientation.
• The design of the CoSpaces preview screen was updated to provide more visual information about the selected CoSpace and to support portrait orientation.

CoSpaces Edu is an online platform for kids that’s used in schools all around the world and that can easily be used at home and on any device.

Kids get access to a creation toolbox to build anything in 3D, a visual coding language to program their creations, and fun ways to explore what they’ve created, including Virtual and Augmented Reality!
